California and China are applying nature-based solutions in their efforts to address the intertwined global challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss. Last year, California committed to integrated nature-based strategies into efforts to achieve carbon neutrality and also protect biodiversity.
In May, China brought together business, academic, government, and civil society leaders in preparation for the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity global summit later this fall. This webinar provided insights into China’s and California’s use of nature-based climate solutions in the context of the future global biodiversity framework and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
