The California-China Climate Institute launched the report “Energy Efficiency and Air Quality Strategies in the U.S. and China: A review of best-practices for buildings, transport, and industry.”
After a history of energy efficiency’s inclusion in California’s climate policies and their implications for the buildings sector, panelists turned to best-practices and recommendations for efficiency improvements in the transport and cement sectors in China.
Through discussion, our panel of climate policy experts shared their analysis on energy efficiency in climate plans and their co-benefits, and opportunities for moving forward.
