Jie Han is a Graduate Student Research Assistant collaborating on tracking subnational progress toward carbon neutrality in the U.S. and China. Her primary role is to develop indicators and milestones for tracking progress and help collect, analyze, and visualize the data. Prior to joining CCCI, Jie was a full-time research assistant of the Resilience City and Comprehensive Disaster Prevention research group at Tongji University, focusing on the assessment and adaptation strategies of urban infrastructures under the changing climate. Jie is currently a graduate student of Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning (LAEP) at Berkeley College of Environmental Design. Her experience of studying LAEP has exposed her to many disciplines and approaches, allowing her to examine how landscape combines with different disciplines to take on other forms. Her current research interest focuses mainly on climate policies and environmental economics.
