Kaifeng Huo is an undergraduate research assistant on Methane Policy with the California-China Climate Institute (CCCI). His primary role is to conduct policy and literature reviews to support research on methane mitigation while drafting academic articles and policy briefs. He focuses on identifying the lessons and challenges across policies and practices implemented in California and China on waste management.
Kaifeng is a fourth-year student majoring in Economics and Global Studies. He is interested in the progress of the transition towards renewable energy and the electrified future, especially the phase-out of internal combustion engine vehicles. He intends to apply to Applied Economics or Public Policy programs upon graduation.
